Please provide the following documentation either at the time of booking or, at the latest, six months prior to your simcha:

• Child’s birth certificate
• Parents’ Ketubah
• Other documentation to verify child’s Orthodox Jewish identity as applicable

Section Four: Fees

1.1 Fees

The following fees are applicable to all Bar/Bat Mitzvah’s at ARK Centre:

• A $150 non-refundable deposit to secure your booking
• The cost of a Bar/Bat Mitzvah is $1,000. This covers all meetings with the Rabbi and management of the event with the ARK Centre office.
• All families are required to be Family Members of ARK Centre in order to have their simcha at the Centre and with Rabbi Shneur. The cost of Family Membership is $1,500 p/a. Memberships are renewable at Rosh Hashanah.

1.2 Payment Terms

As above, the $150 booking fee is payable in order to secure your booking. We encourage taking our Family Membership as early as possible in accordance with the requirements that the Bar / Bat Mitzvah child is as involved in ARK Centre services as much as possible in the lead up to his / her simcha. The remaining $850, and membership if not already paid, is payable four weeks prior to the date of the simcha.

Section Five: Kiddush Arrangements

We are able to offer a Kiddush as part of your simcha. All Bar / Bar Mitzvot that occur on Friday night or Saturday morning have a minimum requirement to sponsor a Kiddush (min $250 and then addition costs depending on number of guests) We have a range of menus to choose from, and this can be discussed with the office in due course. Any services at ARK Centre outside this time, will be quoted on request.

Please note that all events taking place at ARK Centre are required to use our in-house caterer.
