While the current state of affairs fills most of us with a sense of trepidation, ARK Centre is here for you, here for our community.
As a not-for-profit organisation, we rely on renewed memberships during our Annual Membership Drive to enable us to deliver our many services and offerings (both in-person and virtual). Year-on-year, our membership base is what keeps us running day-to-day, along with our generous donors.
We know this year, taking out membership will be difficult for some families. And so we are delighted to announce the launch of our ‘Membership Pay It Forward’ campaign and ask any members who are able to assist to contribute to Pay it Forward for another person or family. These funds will be used to subsidise various membership arrangements that may be put in place for members who may be unable to renew their memberships in full.
We are so very proud of the success of our ‘Catering Pay It Forward’ campaign, where our members have generously donated over 500 meals to those in our ARK Centre Community who are going through tough times. With this new initiative, we hope to continue the spreading of connection and sense of community that has typified ARK Centre throughout this challenging time, and always.
